Multidisciplinary Council
What is a Multidisciplinary Council?
In accordance with the Health and Social Services Act, all public institutions must establish a Multidisciplinary Council (MC).
The council is composed by all persons holding a college or university diploma and who perform functions for the institution which are specific to the field of activity in which the diploma was granted and are directly related to health services, social services, research or teaching.
No physician, dentist, pharmacist nurse and nursing assistants may be a member of the MC.
The Centre de santé et de services sociaux de Gatineau's MC regroups some 800 members, covering some 25 different employment titles.
