Residents Committees

Legislation provides that when an establishment operates a center offering services to residential users, the establishment must set up, in each of its installations, a Residents Committee.

Our establishment includes four residential and long-term care centers:

Thus, there is a Residents Committee for residential users in each of these four centers.

Residents Committees Duties

The Residents Committees, for residential users, will perform the following duties:

  • Inform users on their rights and obligations;
  • Promote improvement of the quality of life of its users and assess users satisfaction level regarding services received from the establishment;
  • Defend users collective rights and interests and, when requested by a user, defend his individual rights and interests as a user of the establishment or with any other proper authority.
