Duties
The Users Committee duties are:
- to inform users on their rights and obligations;
- to promote improvement of users quality of life conditions and assess users degree of satisfaction toward establishment services;
- to defend users rights and interests, and, upon a user's request, his/her rights and interests with the establishment or any other competent authority;
- to support and assist, on request, any user in his actions including complaints, according to the Health and Social Services Act or the Health and Social Services Users Ombudsman Act;
- to ensure, if need be, proper operation of each of the Residents Committees and see to it that they have the necessary resources to function correctly.
